Comfortably Dumb Had A Close Call! Beat Teachers Pet by 10 "Brain Cells"

"Teacher's Pet" has tried their hardest to win JUST ONE WEEK. They thought they had it but came up short this week. Missed the win by one question! Poor "Teacher's Pet"

The biggest losers this week were the "Grizwalds". I am going to stick with the reason being they left their Bird Mascot at home this week. I bet they won't do that again.

So, if you want to see some real action then you need to check out next week's game (Tuesday Feb 3 @ 7pm). You have the big headed "Comfortably Dumb" walking around with a target on their backs. Teacher's Pet is sad, The Grizwalds are mad, and the Stoney Home Team... Well, they are just Stonies...

What ever happened to Team Festivus? They were a promising trio but have disappeared from the ranks. A one hit wonder, or sleeper? Hmmmm

"Grizwalds" and "Comfortably Dumb" Trade Seats!

This week's World Tavern Trivia game was an exciting one. There were some real secret weapons pulled this week. "The Grizwald's" own Gary Clark showed up late when his team was behind and somehow they all pulled through! Not sure he was the brains behind the comeback or not, but we can speculate!

"Comfortably Dumb" proved their name true by giving some pretty dumb answers at times. Gotta love those guys!

Last week "The Grizwalds" had the season first place seat while "Comfortably Dumb" won the round for the week. This week they trade seats! "The Grizwalds" scored an inpressive 600 points while "Comfortably Dumb" increased their average score to 519 Brain Cells. This puts "Comfortably Dumb" in first place by a few brain cells. (Which is good because they only have a few brain cells!)

The Taco Record is Beat!

Over the past decade 50 cent taco night has become a staple of entertainment for the Zilllah / Lower Yakima Valley. Long ago the record was set by a good man (Matt Rowland)... then set again, by Matt Rowland, then I believe set once more on a $100 dare from an unsuspecting bystander, once again by Matt Rowland. Well Matt. We sadly announce that your time as King of Stonehenge Taco Night is OVER!!!!

We introduce to you the new taco champion... CORY! He took the challenge by downing 36 tacos in well under 40 minutes, then celebrating with a Mega Beer. Pictured below is Cory and his commemorative Stonehenge T-Shirt.
